The Phantom Tollbooth

Caroline's School has a Drama Club that puts on a production every year. This year's play was The Phantom Tollbooth. The kids did a fabulous job. I think it might have been just about the best one so far. Caroline was in the chorus.

Ella had a great time clapping!

Avoiding the Chaos

So what do you do when you are one, your three siblings are arguing and your mother is yelling at the top of her lungs to be heard?
You fall asleep in your highchair and avoid the whole scene!

O Christmas Tree

We finally got around to putting up the Christmas tree this weekend. Since we have put the addition to the house we have room again for a real tree. After we got it all up I was missing the artificial one we had been using so I put that one up too! Twice the Christmas cheer! It took us until yesterday to actually fish decorating. Ella was really enjoying taking the decorations off and throwing the "balls". We would tell her to stop and she would try to put them back, but that didn't work very well. I was thinking I was in for a season of redecorating the tree everyday so I planned to get a baby gate system to put around it. Fortunately since she got up this morning she has been ignoring it. I am hoping that lasts!

Fall is Here!

It was so warm on Thanksgiving day that the girls enjoyed time outside playing in the back yard. I was able to get a few shots of them playing in the leaves.

This past weekend we went to David's cousin's home in NC to celebrate his Uncle Tom's 60th Birthday. It was a surprise and I believe that they pulled it off. At least he looked surprised! We all got a chance to meet the new additions to the family. I think our girls enjoyed having more kids around. I know Caroline did. She loves to be a little mommy. It was a quick trip, but it was nice to get away even for a little while and to see everyone again.

Happy Halloween!

Halloween is alway a busy evening for us. We went in to town to visit my Grandmother who is recovering from hip replacement surgery then it was off to get Brittney from volleyball practice. When we got home Caroline took Ella with her on our street to do some trick or treating. She did pretty well except when she ran into someone in a mask. That, she did not care for! Our neighbors had some graham crackers for her so that was the only treat she got for the evening. The sucker she's getting in the photo is for prop only! Abigail, Caroline, Ella and I went over to my sister's neighborhood and the big girls met up with friends to continue trick or treating. Brittney stayed at home to hand out candy with David.

This weekend was our church Halloween party. Isn't this the cutest fairy you have ever seen? Ella was a little spooked by all of the decorations. We'll see how she does on the big night!

We recently had the girls pictures taken by a local photographer. I love how they turned out. Very natural and candid. I can't stand the generic stuff you get from the retail chains. Hope you enjoy! Brittney is 15, Abigail is almost 12 , Caroline is 9, and Ella Paige is 14 months.

Keeping up with the Wagner's

I have been inspired by reading other friend and families blogs to create my own. It's such a great way to keep in touch and keep up with what's going on in each other's lives. I will try to keep it current and as anyone with kids knows, it will mostly be about my girls!
